Job Title: Design & Development Electrical Safety Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking Design & Development Electrical Safety Engineer with project coordination skills to lead the technical execution of our electrical safety projects. This role blends design , development , and project leadership—ensuring our solutions meet technical excellence, compliance, and client requirements while supporting broader project delivery.

This is not a pure "Project Manager" role—it’s for an engineer who thrives in design, development, and technical problem-solving but can also guide projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Design & Development (60%)

Lead the design, modeling, and validation of electrical safety product (LV distribution cabinet, electronics devices, safety product, Crontroled sourcing) using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Fusio 360, or similar).

Develop detailed schematics, BOMs, and technical specifications in compliance with AS/NZS, IEC, IEEE, and other relevant standards.

Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and design reviews to optimize performance, cost, and safety.

Troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative, practical solutions.

2. Project Coordination & Technical Leadership (30%)

Act as the primary technical point of contact for projects, liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams (Safety, mechanical, software, production).

Support project planning (timelines, milestones, resource allocation) with a focus on technical delivery (not full P&L or commercial management).

Ensure designs are manufacturable, testable, and aligned with project goals.

Assist in commissioning and validation phases, including site visits if required.

3. Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing (10%)

Mentor junior engineers/technicians on best practices in electrical design and problem-solving.

Contribute to process improvements in design workflows, documentation, and compliance.

Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, smart grids, energy efficiency) and propose innovations.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). first experience in design & development (industrial, commercial, or automation projects). Proficiency in volumic 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, EPLAN, or similar).

Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, schematics,standards and datasheets. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written & verbal).

Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory)

Experience with project coordination (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies). 🔹 Familiarity with manufacturing processes (Machinning, Assembling , enclosures).
