Westside Bus Company Pty Ltd (part of the Pulitano Group of Companies) is currently seeking a Network Controller to join our Service Delivery team at our Redbank depot.

This permanent role reports to the Operations Manager and it is responsible for monitoring and managing our bus network across Queensland and Victoria.

Our company specialises in providing School, and Urban, services in the South East Queensland, as well as Melbourne and Country Victoria.

About the role

Maintaining two-way radio contact with our bus drivers

Despatch buses to shifts and drivers including charter shifts

Handling on-road incidents as per our internal processes

Ensuring buses depart the depot on time and take corrective action to mitigate against late running and missed trips

Managing network interruptions in accordance with contractual obligations

Monitoring the performance of the network and bus drivers

Cover shifts vacated by absenteeism

Ensuring drivers complete shifts safely

Work as part of a team on a rotating roster which includes early and late starts as well as weekend shifts

About you

Ideally, you will have experience in transport operations and in managing staff resources

Possess Basic Fatigue Management Qualifications

Have knowledge of employment legislation such as NES and Awards

Knowledge of Transport Legislation

You have the ability to build positive relationships with employees while working in a busy environment and managing competing priorities

Intermediate computer literacy is desired
