About the role:

This full-time permanent role (8/6 roster) located at Barto Gold in Southern Cross. We are looking for an experienced Process Operator to join a new team on site. This is a Bus in Bus out of Perth where travel time is paid.

Key ingredients to ensure success in the role:

· Complete all required safety documentation before commencing works including G2G, JHA/SWP/SWMS and permit to work.

· Conduct machine pre starts and checks and record any issues identified.

· Operate production plant and all auxiliary equipment safely and productively.

· Ensure the production plant is running efficiently and stopping the plant before any upstream or downstream issues cause damage to the plant or equipment.

· Assist with servicing and daily maintenance of the production plant and report any defects to the Supervisor or Stand in Supervisor.

· Assist the maintenance team with plant service and repair works.

· Perform manual labour when required, clearing bogged conveyor belts, shovelling, and any other labour-intensive tasks as requested by the Supervisor or Stand in Supervisor.

· Any other operation and maintenance tasks directed by the Supervisor or Stand in Supervisor.

Essential Requirements for role:

Demonstrated commitment to safety

Minimum of 2 years' continuous experience as a Process Operator, ideally in mining or a similar industry

Forklift Ticket

Skidsteer/ Front Loader

Elevated Work Platform (Desirable)

Telehandler (Desirable)

Construction White Card

Confined Space

Working at Heights

Valid Australian Drivers License

Unlimited Australian Work Rights

National Police Clearance (mandatory)
