We are working with a highly respected not-for-profit organisation based in Toorak. Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their supportive team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to provide vital assistance during an exciting payroll system implementation.

The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:

• End-to-end payroll processing for over 3000 employees using Chris21
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
• Managing payroll queries with professionalism and efficiency
• Supporting the payroll team during the implementation of a new payroll system
• Assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives

About You
You will bring:

• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a large, complex organisation
• Good knowledge of Chris21
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills
