We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction supervisor to join our team at Whitehaven’s Blackwater Mine. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver various civil projects in a dynamic mining environment, ensuring quality, safety and productivity targets are met.

About the role:

As supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations for civil works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and site safety standards. You will coordinate your crew and maintain strong communication with project stakeholders. This position requires demonstrated experience in supervising ancillary earthworks, including access roads, drainage and other supporting civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on-site and machine allocation

· Pre-start presentations

· Using Whitehaven’s Evotix program to ensure Field Leadership KPI’s are met

· Lead and mentor your crew, while promoting a positive safety culture

· Ensure works are completed in line with the client’s project plans, quality standards and deadlines

· Report equipment faults, organise servicing and manage downtime

· Liaise with the client to resolve on-site issues

Requirements:

· Current QLD Health Assessment (Coal Board Medical)

· Australian Driver’s Licence

· G189 Statement of Attainment

· G2 Statement of Attainment

· Previous supervisory experience in civil construction

· Standard 11

· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports, track progress, manage schedules and communicate with stakeholders
