An opportunity exists for a Licensed Electrician to join our Warrnambool Team.

You will be provided with everything required. All your daily work will be scheduled for you, the clients will know you are coming and you will enjoy office support every moment of the day as you are completing the days work.

We are offering a competitive salary of $95,000-$100,000 whilst enjoying every second Friday off. Company vehicle + Phone + tools + uniforms supplied.

To be successful, you will have:

A current Electrical Licence (mandatory)
Ability to work unsupervised
Be willing to travel outside of Warrnambool (200km radiance)
Flexible with work hours between the hours of 8am-4pm.
Be presentable, well-spoken and take pride in the position
Fit and able to climb up and down ladders several time per day.
Ability to use a tablet device for reporting purposes (preferably apple products)
Note: A Federal Police Check which will be conducted prior to commencement

About this role:

This role offers flexibility but also required work must be complete within a certain time frame. You will be required to work both independently and in a team environment depending on the job.

Each shift will include a run sheet of properties for you to attend. You will conduct an inspection, perform maintenance, and record details. Tools and vehicle provided. All data is recorded via mobile device to a database.
You will be performing safety inspections on residential properties which includes but is not limited to the following;
- Check & services of all landlord supplied electrical appliances, earth loops & polarity of all accessible power points.

-Thorough switchboard inspection to ensure RCD’S (safety switches) are installed and operational.

-Replacements of faulty or damaged RCD’S (safety switch), light switches & power points

-Testing and replacement of faulty or expired smoke alarms, corded window safety adjustments, safety switch tests and split system filter cleans dependent on each job.
