Lead sales for a trusted Australian manufacturer supplying critical pipeline solutions to major mining and civil projects. Build relationships, win tenders, and drive high-value project sales.
The Company
This long-standing Australian manufacturer and supplier provides high-quality polyethylene piping systems, fittings, and associated equipment for large-scale infrastructure and mining projects. With a reputation for technical excellence, responsive service, and long-term client partnerships, the business works directly with end users and contractors on projects across WA, NT, and key mining regions. Known for a collaborative, family-friendly culture, they offer flexibility, stability, and a supportive team environment where initiative is valued.
The Role
- Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll take charge of developing new business opportunities across WA and NT, with a primary focus on the mining sector.
- Around 80% of your time will be spent hunting new projects, leveraging tender portals, and engaging directly with project engineers, while also maintaining a select portfolio of existing clients.
- With project values ranging from $3M to $20M, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships, identifying opportunities, and securing supply agreements for piping systems, valves, fittings, and related equipment.
- Internal sales support and technical specialists will back you up, enabling you to focus on strategic relationship-building and deal closure.
The Candidate
- The Most Important Thing: Technical Sales Experience within the mining OR civil infrastructure industry.
- You’ll bring a technical or engineering background—ideally with experience selling into the mining or civil infrastructure sectors.
- You understand how to navigate complex project environments, work with technical stakeholders, and develop creative solutions to meet client requirements.
- Self-motivated, driven, and commercially astute, you thrive on securing large-scale projects and building lasting client partnerships.
- PERSONALITY: Positive attitude, and team orientated mentality.
