About the role:

We are on the lookout for an operations specialist to help with packing orders, testing products and carrying out day-to-day operations and join our ecommerce team. Based out of South Melbourne, the role requires you to work from office. This role would be ideal for someone who is meticulously organised, has high attention to detail, can work under pressure and have strong decision-making skills.

Reporting to the e-commerce manager; your responsibilities include:

Preparing orders, packaging them, updating details on the relevant platform.

Helping in-store customers with enquiries and providing great customer service.

Testing mobile devices using diagnostics software and looking out for repair and refurbishments needed.

Maintaining records of stock movement, handling inventory, and digitally savvy in using inventory management system.

Strong negotiating and reporting skills while purchasing mobile devices from customers.

Being in close connection with customer support team to help with customer enquiries.

Reporting sales data at the end of each month

Delivering letter posts and parcels to the nearest Australia post.

Order fulfilment on platforms Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Catch, and more and being well versed with their respective interfaces.

Overall, if you are an e-commerce enthusiast, this role is for you! You will work closely on multiple seller platforms like Shopify, Word Press, Amazon, eBay. If you are a mobile phone enthusiast, it’s a plus one for you as you get hands on with the latest devices.

About you:

Strong operations and business sense and a keen eye for identifying opportunities

Past experience in e-commerce product packaging and dispatch is well regarded

Ability to convince and negotiate with customers and put forth reasonable arguments

Quick in analysing results and reporting data

Tech savvy in using online selling platforms, CRMs and other software’s.
