This boutique business based in Murarrie is seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to take ownership of their warehouse operations. It’s a Monday to Friday role, 8.00am to 4.00pm, offering the rare combination of variety, great working conditions and the security of joining a company where people genuinely stay. The previous person in this role has been here for over 8 years and is moving into another position within the business.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Answer front and back door to customers and couriers
• Able to lift up to 35kg
• Use a walkie stacker forklift to unload trucks
• Use Excel and Word programs
• Answer phones when needed
• Answer customer stock questions (availability and ETA) when needed
• Provide tracking numbers to customers when required
• Good verbal and written communication
• Get import and export quotes from Mainfreight when required
• Pick orders from invoices, pack, measure and weigh items
• Use Australia Post eParcel and Open Freight systems to ship goods
• Regular stock takes

The ideal candidate will have:

• Solid, proven experience within a warehouse/store environment
• Solid knowledge of receipting goods, stock control and dispatch processes
• Confident computer skills – solid basics in MS Office (Excel & Word)
• Forklift/walkie stacker experience (licence ideal but not essential)
• A proactive approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and customers
