Aged Care Registered Nurses – FTC | Newcastle NSW

We’re seeking experienced and clinically confident Registered Nurses in the Newcastle area for full-time, fixed-term contracts in aged care. Make a genuine difference by providing meaningful, compassionate care to residents while enjoying the stability of guaranteed full-time hours.

About the Role

Bring your strong clinical skills and aged care expertise to this rewarding role, working alongside the Clinical Manager to deliver top-quality, person-centred care. You’ll play a key role in maintaining best practice standards and supporting the care team to achieve exceptional outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care and implement individual care plans
• Administer medications and monitor resident health
• Maintain documentation and meet compliance standards
• Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and care team
• Support care staff to deliver best-practice services

Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential aged care nursing
• Full Australian working rights
• Valid National Police Check dated within the past 3 years
• Evidence of current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations
• Up-to-date Manual Handling and CPR certifications
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
