Seeking a Speech Pathologist – Paediatric - New Graduate 2026
Full-time | Brisbane | $85K–$120K + 6 weeks leave + 9-day fortnight
This is a role for a new graduate speech pathologist who cares deeply about equity, culture, and connection, someone who wants to be part of change.
You'll be supporting early childhood and school-aged children, many of whom are navigating complex systems, trauma, or developmental diagnoses like FASD. Your work will sit at the intersection of disability, mental health, neurodivergence, and cultural safety.
We don't expect you to have all the answers, just a willingness to learn, reflect, and hold space for the kids and families you'll walk alongside.
You'll be supported by a team of clinicians who have worked in this space for 10+ years, and who believe in mentoring the next generation of therapists in culturally responsive, trauma-informed practice.
We encourage First Nations peoples to apply to this position.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Delivering NDIS therapy in schools and community settings
Supporting children's communication, confidence, and capacity
Working in partnership with First Nations educators, communities, and families
Participating in PD, supervision, and reflective spaces focused on justice and belonging
Collaborating within a transdisciplinary team
Required
Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology (completing in 2026)
Current or eligible for Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Working with Children Check
National Police Check
Valid Australian driver's licence and access to reliable vehicle required for travel between locations
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
WHAT WE OFFER:
Salary $85,000–$120,000 + super
$2,000 yearly PD allowance
6 weeks annual leave
9-day fortnight
Travel allowance + performance bonuses
Access to our New Graduate Program
Support from experienced clinicians in First Nations health and education settings
