Site Supervisor – Flooring Installation

Role Overview:

A hands-on Site Supervisor role within a leading flooring provider, overseeing approximately 4-5 installation teams across residential and commercial projects. You’ll manage subcontractors, schedulers, and resolve on-site construction issues. Ideal for someone with strong flooring installation expertise, construction knowledge, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee flooring installation orders at the procurement stage, focusing on new residential builds and commercial projects.

Manage daily scheduling and job allocation for installation teams, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Supervise subcontractors on-site, ensuring workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards.

Provide technical support to sales teams regarding flooring installation details when required.

Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues, visiting locations to guide problem resolution promptly.

Hold subcontractors accountable for installation errors and coordinate replacement or repair with builders.

Maintain clear communication with builders, project managers, and clients, understanding construction terminology and subfloor requirements.

Prepare monthly reports on site issues and improvements to enhance processes.

What You Need:

✅ Proven experience in flooring installation (carpet, timber, laminate, vinyl, hybrid, or tiling).

✅ Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.

✅ Technical understanding of subfloor preparation, moisture testing, and flooring adhesives/fixings.

✅ Willingness to travel extensively across Sydney, Wollongong, and beyond.

✅ Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, on-site decisions.

Salary & Benefits:

💰 $75,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
