The Role:

Due to increasing work commitments, Pro Pipe Services are currently seeking a Field Technician to join our team for upcoming projects and shutdowns with major clients.

This role is for an immediate start servicing our clients both in the workshop and in the field providing and delivering top quality service each, and every time.

Key Responsibilities:

Responding to incidents and emergencies

Assist with afterhours callout rosters and incident management

Ensure preservation of the pipeline

100% Compliance with OH&S and workplace policies and procedures

Maintain professional working relationships with field, office-based colleagues, and contractors

Assist in the functional testing and preparation of equipment for projects

Keeping accurate documentation and records

Maintain housekeeping in the maintenance and servicing work areas to a high standard

About You:

To be considered for the role you will ideally possess the following skills, experience, tickets, and attributes, however we are willing to train the right person:

Trade Qualification (preferred but not essential)

Experience in working in the Gas Industry (preferred but not essential)

Experience working on or around Underground Assets (preferred but not essential)

High pressure gas experience (preferred but not essential)

Time management and strong problem-solving capabilities

Self-starter able to work unsupervised or within a supportive team environment

Ability to be flexible and work shift work (Day/Night/Weekends)

Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety

Full Australian work rights

Effective written and verbal communication skills

A current and valid Australian driver’s licence

Ability to drive manual vehicles (desirable)

Forklift Licence (desirable)

High Risk Work Licence (desirable)

Working at Heights ticket (desirable)

Confined Space ticket (desirable)

Pro Pipe Services established in 2017 is a rapidly growing company in Melbourne providing safe and reliable services for the gas distribution, gas transmission, industrial, offshore, pipeline and refining industries throughout Asia Pacific.

Our professional technicians safely specialise in a wide range of hot tapping and gas line isolation works to allow for alterations without disrupting services. We provide pipeline repairs and maintenance as well as pipe cutting services, allowing for the diversion, moving or replacement of pipelines for maximum efficiency.
