Yard Hand / Forklift Operator – Pathway to Truck Driving

About the Role:

As a Yard Hand, your main responsibilities will include:

Operating a forklift to load and unload materials

Packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

Unloading shipping containers

Completing small deliveries in a manual Ute

Assisting with general yard duties and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

You’ll be working with concrete sleepers, steel posts, and other building products, so you’ll need to be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

This role has the potential to grow into a truck driving position for the right candidate. If you're interested in obtaining your truck license, we’re open to supporting you (and paying) through that process.

A current forklift license (or willingness to get one – we can help the right person)

A manual driver’s license
