Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join our team as a Senior Associate.

You will be expected to manage family law cases autonomously and together with other members of our team. Responsibilities include managing property and financial settlements, parenting arrangements, negotiating settlements, drafting court documents, court attendances, and client management. You will have exposure to a varied caseload ranging from alternative dispute resolution to fast-paced and complex litigation. You will assist in mentoring and guiding junior lawyers, and business development and staff training.

About you:

Previous experience in Family Law (minimum 5 years PQE)

Ability to manage varied family law cases from start to finish with strong negotiation skills.

Strong client management skills with the ability to build rapport and provide compassionate support to clients whilst providing strategic and accurate advice.

Ability to competently draft and settle legal documents and correspondence.

Ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners and to assist with staff training.

Interest in business development.

Ideally, an Accredited Family Law Specialist or Family Law Mediator, or desire to become either.
