Role Overview:

This is a full-time role based in our Milsons Point, NSW office.

As an Associate you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice and representation to clients navigating family law matters. You will be expected to manage family law cases autonomously and together with other members of our team. Responsibilities include managing property and financial settlements, parenting arrangements, negotiating settlements, drafting court documents, court attendances, and client management. You will have exposure to a varied caseload ranging from alternative dispute resolution to fast-paced and complex litigation.

About you:

Previous experience in Family Law (minimum 3 years PQE)

Ability to manage varied family law cases from start to finish with strong negotiation skills.

Strong client management skills with the aptitude to build rapport and provide compassionate support to clients whilst providing strategic and accurate advice.

Ability to competently draft and settle legal documents and correspondence.

Ideally, a desire to become an Accredited Family Law Specialist or Family Law Mediator.
