About the Role

Knoxbrooke Coffee operates two welcoming cafes in Warragul – one within Warragul Community Aged Care and one within the West Gippsland Arts Centre.

At our cafes we provide excellent coffee, light meals, and a friendly inclusive space for catch-ups.

We currently have vacancies for reliable and friendly Café Attendants / Baristas to join our small team as casuals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cafe Attendant / Barista who enjoys working in a community-focused environment and has availability for casual work throughout the week.

Your Key Responsibilities

Preparing and serving quality coffee and other beverages

Providing warm and efficient customer service

Assisting with food preparation and light cleaning duties

Maintaining a clean and welcoming café space

Working collaboratively with a small team, including people of all abilities

What You’ll Bring

Recent previous experience as a barista or café all-rounder

Confidence in operating coffee machines and POS systems

A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to great customer service

Reliability and good time management

Kindness, good verbal communication skills and the ability to work within an inclusive and supportive team environment

Position Details

This is a casual position with shifts usually rostered between Monday and Friday 9:30am – 3:30pm however some weekend work and expanded hours may be required due to business growth. We are looking for casual staff who have the ability to be flexible around these business needs.

The successful applicant will need to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and have had 2 Covid 19 vaccinations (or a valid medical exemption).
