Requirements:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife or RN/RM

Minimum 12 months of recent clinical experience in midwifery

Willingness to work across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal settings

NNR (Neo Natal Resuscitation) training

OFSEP (Foetal Surveillance Education Program) certification

SSE (Safe Sleep Environments) certificate

Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently

National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate

COVID-19 and other relevant immunisations up to date

(For regional contracts) Flexibility to travel and work away from home

Desirable:

Experience working in rural or remote maternity settings

PARROT (Paediatric Acute Response and Recognition Assessment Tool) certification for rural and remote placements
