About the role

Oaks Avenue Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly team in Dee Why on a casual basis starting with 1 day per week (Friday) with some Saturdays and with the intent of potentially picking up more days in the future.

In this key role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals to deliver high-quality treatments.

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical support role is essential

What you'll be doing

Welcoming and greeting patients, ensuring a positive experience

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean and organised work area

Sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic files

Maintaining stock control

Maintenance of dental equipment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical support role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

Proficient in using dental software and computer systems

A team-player with a positive, can-do attitude

Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification
