We’re looking for an experienced educator who’s ready to step into a leadership role with purpose.

Unlike many Assistant Director roles, this position gives you the space to focus on pedagogy and team development. You’ll work closely with our Centre Director and have a genuine opportunity to shape the learning culture across the service.

This role is all about people and practice. You’ll be:

Leading curriculum and pedagogy across the centre

Supporting and mentoring educators at all stages of their journey

Building strong connections with children and families

Contributing meaningfully to the QIP and professional learning

Acting as the Responsible Person when needed and supporting leadership where required

Creating a team culture that’s respectful, reflective and energised

What You’ll Bring

Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education

Experience as a Room Leader, 2IC, or Educational Leader

A solid understanding of the NQF, EYLF v2.0

Strong communication and mentoring skills

A calm professional presence and a genuine commitment to quality
