SKATE CONNECTION - Sales Consultant Approx 20-26 hours per week

The Role:

Provide customers with the best experience and product knowledge

Be motivated to achieve budget targets

Effectively follow management directions

Receiving/processing stock: unpacking, storing, labelling stock

Excellent merchandising and store presentation/cleanliness

Answering phones

Packaging online orders and deliveries

Assist in the management of daily store operations

Create a positive, high energy team environment

Under the direction of management, performs and completes other additional projects, duties and assignments as required.

Responsible for the daily opening and closing of the business, managing daily goal and schedule needs

Ensures that the floor is merchandised according to promotion

Takes full responsibility and accountability at store level

About YOU:

Prior experience in a similar sales consultant position

Solid understanding of retail store budgets and sales targets

Experience in developing a customer service focus in a retail store

Passion for active lifestyle

Complete tasks with attention to detail

Excellent team player

Excellent decision making and problem resolution skills

Upbeat, optimistic, passionate, friendly

Personally responsible and dependable

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organisational and time management skills

General computer knowledge
