Your new role:
Lead expert nursing care for older adults with complex mental health and addiction needs in a collaborative healthcare team by:
- Providing advanced clinical assessment, planning, and coordination of care across inpatient and community settings
- Leading, mentoring, and supervising nursing staff including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and students
- Driving quality improvement, risk management, and safe practice initiatives aligned with national standards
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver specialist nursing care in addictions, homelessness, and mental health
- Work 3 days per week, with flexible shift arrangements in Logan Central
About you:
You are a skilled, autonomous Clinical Nurse passionate about specialist, person-centred care for older adults with mental health and addiction needs with
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership in mental health or addiction nursing
- Experience mentoring and supervising nursing teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to professional development and nursing standards
