Our team at Townsville & Suburban Medical Practice has a position available for someone who is hard working, loves to get to know their patients, perform best practice nursing care, and collaborate with the team to really improve the health outcomes of our community.

We are offering a permanent part-time Registered Nurse role for the right person to be part of our team. There may be an opportunity for this role to have flexible working arrangements within a rotating fortnightly roster.

Role Responsibilities:

Clinical Excellence

Customer Service Excellence (patients and doctors)

Cross Practice Team Collaboration

Meeting of RACGP Standards

Applicants require:

The skill and the will to do a great job

Current registration with AHPRA (RN)

Training in CPR, undertaken within the past 12 months

A high level of computer literacy

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience using Best Practice medical software

A basic understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule

Authorised Nurse Immuniser status

Cannulation and venepuncture skills

Knowledge in sterilisation

Experience in vaccine and cold chain management
