A Government team based in Parramatta require an experienced Finance Officer with experience of tax lodgements and preparing financial reports for a short term contract

Your new role

Working with the Tax Advisory Team, your duties will include:

• Prepare financial statements and reports such as balance sheet and profit & loss reports for individuals
• Cost and expense analysis
• Revenue forecasts
• Upcoming expenditure reporting
• Recommending tax strategies to optimise financial situations
• Preparing finances for any upcoming lodgements to ATO

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong financial accounting knowledge ideally with preparation of individual and trust accounting
• Australian tax knowledge
• Strong revenue and expenditure analytical skills
• Ability to prepare financial reports
• Degree qualifications in Accountancy
