The Role

We are seeking an experienced Bitumen Spray Seal Driver to join our spray seal crew, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of bitumen spray trucks across various civil projects. This hands-on role involves preparing and applying spray seal treatments to roads and surfaces, ensuring uniform coverage and adherence to project specifications. You’ll be required to conduct pre-start checks, monitor spray rates, assist with loading and unloading materials and work closely with the ground crew to coordinate site activities.

Key Responsibilities

Operate bitumen spray seal trucks (BFP Volvo trucks)

Heating product in Spray truck and/or bitumen trailers

Conduct daily pre-start inspections, basic maintenance & clean-downs

Collaborate with surfacing crews on site setup, traffic management & project delivery

Monitor bitumen flow rates, spray patterns & machine performance

Complete quality checks & ensure compliance with safety & environmental protocols.

What We’re Looking For

Valid truck license (HR, HC, MC).

Construction Induction (White Card)

Dangerous Goods (DG) license

Minimum 1 years’ experience operating bitumen sprayers or similar plant

Strong commitment to workplace health & safety and team collaboration

Exceptional attention to detail, reliability & pride in your work
