About the role

As a Crane Operator at Souwest Crane Hire, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various crane equipment on construction sites throughout Pinjarra, Western Australia. This is a casual role that offers the opportunity to work flexibly and gain valuable experience in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

Operate mobile and slewing cranes safely and efficiently within construction, mining and taxi hire environments.

Performing pre-operational checks and conducting routine maintenance on crane equipment

Interpreting load charts, rigging plans and other technical documents to ensure safe lifting operations

Communicating effectively with site supervisors, riggers and other construction workers to coordinate lifting activities

Providing exceptional customer service to Souwest Crane Hire's clients

What we're looking for

CO High Risk Work licence

Current & valid HR driver’s licence (HC/MC highly desirable)

White Card and Working at Heights certification; an Intermediate Rigging or Dogging ticket is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in relevant settings.

Solid understanding of load management principles and safety regulations.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
