ABOUT THE ROLE

Title: Disability Support Worker
Location: Ipswich, Queensland
Salary: $34.58 - $37.73 per hour plus 25% casual loading, super, and salary packaging
Employment Type: Casual

We have multiple vacancies for Disability Support Workers in the Ipswich area. These roles will be in multiple SIL locations and include a variety of shifts including active nights and sleep overs.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

Essential:

Multiple Vacancies

• The roster includes day programs, active nights and sleepovers.
• Experience providing support to others: Disability, Aged Care, Early Childhood, Community, or Allied Health.
• Intermediate computer skills (ie: using Microsoft Outlook, documentation in a client management tool/CRM, Carelink +).
• Right to work in Australia
• NDIS Workers Screening Check / willingness to obtain
• Valid First Aid & CPR

Highly regarded and desirable:

• A relevant qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Allied Health, Mental Health or working towards it.
• Experience de-escalating behaviours of concern in line with Behaviour Support Plans
• Qualifications with Medication, Epilepsy Management desirable
