Mechanical Fitter/Site Installations

The Opportunity

Because of new contracts awarded, BDR Stainless is looking for “Mechanical Fitters’’ to be part of our team with a great culture who loves a challenge and delivering quality and on time solutions to our customers. This position is open for trade qualified, and quality conscious ‘Tradesman” with proven experience working on Sewage Treatment Plants.

You will be working on site in Luggage Point Sewage Treatment Plant. We are looking to find enthusiastic members to add to our fantastic team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Experience in welding Light Fab

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Installing Penstocks/Rotork Valves

Installing Pipework/Platforms/Handrails

Use a variety of hand and power tools

This is a casual to full time position to the right candidate

Work in the Workshop when required

Work on other sites when required

Ideally you will have:

Hep A,B and Tetanus shots

Current Construction White Card

Valid Driver's Licence

EWP, W@H, Confined Space,

Forklift, Telehandler, tickets an advantage but not essential.

Attention to detail.

Strong work ethic with good communication skills.

Safety Conscious

Your own Basic hand tools

Ability to work alone or work in a team environment.

An ability to learn and embrace new ideas.

Dependable, Reliable and Good Time management.

Be proactive and provide solutions to every day challenges
