With 30+ staff, Wellingtons provides accounting, taxation and business services to an impressive list of entrepreneurial clients and is experiencing a rapidly growing fee base.

Your new challenge

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a drive to grow their technical accounting knowledge and client relationship skills.

As the Graduate Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for various entities including companies, trusts and superannuation funds

Working directly with the Directors and Managers on various strategic matters for SME's and high net worth individuals

Tax and cash flow planning including regular monitoring and reviewing client's income tax, GST and BAS requirements

Research and preparation of advice in respect of technical tax issues, commercial issues associated with SME's

Client contact via shadowing programs with Directors and Managers

About you

Eligible to, or have commenced Chartered Accountants Australian and New Zealand (CA) program

Exposure to or work experience in an Australian professional practice will be highly regarded

Excellent written and communication skills

High attention to detail

Strong research skills
