As our next OSHC Coordinator, you’ll lead a passionate team to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for children before and after school — and during holidays.

What you’ll do

Lead daily OSHC operations, ensuring quality care, safety, and full compliance

Design and deliver engaging programs for Before School, After School & Vacation Care

Inspire and support a team of educators through coaching, feedback and recognition

Build trusted relationships with children, families, school staff, and the local community

Manage enrolments, rosters, admin, and Quality Improvement Plans

Promote a child-safe culture where every child feels safe, supported and celebrated

Champion the School Plus philosophy and help every child and educator GROW

What you’ll bring

Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (required)

Current Blue Card, and valid First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain)

3+ years’ experience in OSHC, early childhood or school settings

Confident leadership and people management skills

Strong communicator with great organisation and problem-solving abilities

A warm, energetic personality and passion for helping children thrive.

Position: OSHC Coordinator (Permanent Full-Time)

Location: Bluewater State School – 40 minutes from Townsville

Hours: 38 hours per week – no split shifts!
