Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking a dynamic Senior Engineer - Standards, Research and Training (Road Design) to join our Engineering & Technology branch. This role offers the chance to lead research and development in road planning and design, contribute to Austroads and Australian Standards, and support technical training delivery across Queensland.
You'll provide expert advice on transport infrastructure projects, help shape departmental design standards, and support regional teams through design reviews and specialist input.

Mandatory requirements:
- A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia.
- A Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in Civil Engineering is mandatory for appointment to the position.
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
