As one of the largest disability service providers in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, we support over 500 individuals every week across 24 sites, delivering employment, training, and community-based programs.

About the role

We’re seeking a Retail Sales Officer for a 6-month contract to join Imagine Homewares & Hampers, our vibrant, purpose-driven social enterprise. We sell stylish, locally made homewares, gifts, and hampers, and create inclusive employment opportunities for people with disability.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving sales, meeting daily targets, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll also support and mentor supported employees to build retail skills in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

About You

Required Skills:

Proven experience in a customer-facing retail role

Strong sales focus and confidence meeting financial targets

Understanding of inclusive workplace practices

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Basic computer literacy and POS system experience

Ability to work independently in a kiosk-style setting

Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and Thursday evenings

Probity Requirements:

Current Drivers License

First Aid Certificate

National Police Check

NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You

NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)

The Right to Work in Australia

Working with Children Check
