Occupational Therapist (Ongoing Contractor) – Flexible, High-Impact Role
Accord Health
Posted 9 days ago
You became an OT to help people move forward - so let’s do it, properly.
At Accord Health, we’re known for stepping into complexity with confidence. Many of our customers have spent too long stuck in systems that don’t serve them. You’ll join a team that surrounds them with coordinated, thoughtful care, and values you for who you are - not just what you can do.
Whether you’re delivering assessments, therapy, or professional services like supervision or consulting, you’ll be supported by a culture that propels people, builds trust, and removes friction so you can do your best work.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
You’ll help people shift the momentum with tailored, evidence-informed strategies. You’ll work with NDIS participants, and occasionally private or insurance-funded clients. Many have complex needs and long waitlists behind them. You’ll help them move forward - with a team backing you.
We’re building a collaborative model of service delivered by OTs, psychologists, social workers, and rehab counsellors. You’ll contribute to assessments that actually help people get the right funding, therapy that meets people where they are, and wraparound care that achieves lasting outcomes.
Some days might include:
Completing FCAs that shine a light on what’s possible and what’s needed
Delivering therapy in clinic or the community, shaped around your strengths and availability
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to tackle complexity with confidence
Owning your caseload with high flexibility, and the support to do it well
We use modifiable report templates, hands-on admin support, and collaborative teamwork to reduce friction and help you focus on clinical impact.
Who We’re Looking For
You value excellence in your outcomes, and in how you show up. Compassionate, adaptable, and grounded in evidence, you take initiative, think critically, and communicate with clarity. You thrive independently but are energised by a relational team.
You might be an experienced OT who wants to be recognised and rewarded for your expertise. Or you might be earlier in your career, bringing maturity, curiosity, and the drive to grow. We’re open to gradual onboarding if you’re transitioning from another role or returning to work.
What matters is your commitment to people - their dignity, their potential, and their journey forward.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
Believe every person holds intrinsic value
Take ownership of your work and maintain a high standard
Think critically, practice ethically, and stay open to learning
Collaborate across disciplines and share insight generously
Navigate complexity with calm and creativity
Why Join Us
We care about our customers and about the people who serve them. That means you’ll be backed by a team that values clinical depth, trust, and meaningful work. You’ll have the freedom to shape your schedule, the support of experienced colleagues, and the satisfaction of doing work that changes lives.
We offer:
Flexibility – own your calendar and set your own hours. Work remotely or in our clinic
Modifiable report templates & great admin support – streamline your workflow
Management support and guidance – no flying solo
Opportunities to grow – clinically, professionally, entrepreneurially
A culture that values people and their outcomes
