About the role

The Administrative Support Officer (ASO) will be a proactive administrative support for Warrnambool Adult Mental Health Service providing high level of collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team ensuring all client needs are met, administrative tasks are appropriately completed and that all relevant client data is collected and reported.

The contribution of the broader Administrative Support team is critical to the smooth operation of the broader Mental Health and Wellbeing Services and its organisation functions.

Position overview

  • Employment Type: Ongoing, Part Time (64 hours per fortnight)
  • Location: Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Administrative Grade 1 Mental Health
  • Salary Range: $63,263.20 pro rata plus superannuation

What you bring

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality and remaining customer focused at all times. In addition to, you will possess;

  • A qualification in Office Administration (minimum Certificate III) or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, PowerPoint presentation design, database management, and spreadsheet operation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise workloads, and function effectively in a team environment
  • A high level of accountability and responsibility in performing daily tasks
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with staff at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to team outcomes
  • Experience in developing and maintaining efficient office systems, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Previous experience working with medical records is desirable
