About the role
As a technician in our workshop, you will play a vital role in the servicing and repair of caravans. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of caravan models and styles.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm - Friday 8am to 2.30pm, and the occasional Saturday when required, 8am to 12noon. The full time hourly rate starts at $27.85 (negotiable depending on experience). The position will include ongoing Jayco training.
What you'll be doing
Servicing of caravan wheel bearings, brakes, and suspension
Diagnosing and repairing a range of caravan systems including 12v electrical, plumbing, and furniture.
Installing aftersales extras
Carrying out warranty repairs
Maintaining detailed records of all work completed
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Who we're looking for
Previous experience with automotive or caravan repairs and servicing (including packing wheel bearings, brakes, suspension)
Experience in any woodwork, plumbing, or 12v would be advantageous
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently and accurately
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
A current QLD drivers license
Reliable transport to work
