We are currently seeking a Caravan Mechanic / Hoist Specialist

The ideal candidate will be pro-active, self driven & would like to join a large team working in a clean & modern workshop.

We are looking for a motivated individual to conduct suspension works and accessory fitting to new caravans . We run a fast paced and exciting environment with clear build processes and training. We are looking for staff with experience in the Caravan/Camper Trailer industry who is looking for a challenging role. Must be able to work alone and take direction from senior team members..

Familiarity in the direct caravan assembly would be ideal-but not essential, though hourly rates are dependent on experience.

The position is full-time employment, 6:00am – 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday and is based at Caloundra, QLD

Tasks & responsibilities:

Replacing suspension components on new caravans

Assisting with pre-delivery operational checklists

Assisting with repairs and general maintenance.

Reading from work orders and fulfilling jobs listed

Fitting Accessories to caravans from options list like stabiliser legs and tyre upgrades

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and production areas, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely to carry out specific tasks like cutting, bolting, or welding materials.

Experience & requirements:

Previous experience working on caravan suspension

Own tools to conduct mechanical works

Ability to safely use hand and power tools

Basic knowledge of RV components and materials an advantage

Good physical fitness, as the role requires manual handling and standing for long periods

Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Commitment to workplace health and safety standards

Bust have reliable transport to work

Experience with welding is a plus but not a requirement

Forklift ticket an advantage
