u&u Recruitment Partners are proud to be partnering with a large ASX listed organisation, to recruit an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to oversee and lead their New Zealand payroll function.

The Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will be working in a team environment, responsible for end-to-end processing of the New Zealand payroll.

• Weekly processing for 1500+ employees;
• Onboarding and maintaining employee files;
• Strong understanding of NZ payroll legislation;
• Termination, redundancy and leave calculations;
• Maintenance of the time and attendance system;
• Assist in the preparation of end of month & end of year reconciliations; and
• Query management.

About You

• 3 + years proven NZ payroll experience within a medium to large sized organisation;
• Working in a true end to end payroll environment;
• Experience using Aurion or large payroll system;
• Demonstrated experience using a T&A system;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information; and
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
