We are seeking an innovative and experienced Chef de Partie to deliver a memorable experiences by building great culinary moments for our guests and elevate The Langham, Gold Coast as a premier dining institution.
Key Responsibilities
Our Chef de Partie is responsible for creating quality dishes, assisting with menu planning, implementation and execution, undertaking all aspects of the process, ordering stock to maintain par levels, to ensure every product is of perfect quality as well as training our culinary talented team.
As your role as Chef de Partie, you will oversee daily operations with the support of the culinary leadership team and work collaboratively to develop innovative and distinctive menus that resonate with each unique Outlet and craft an experience for guests to remember. Our menus will optimise the use of quality seasonal and on trend products to elevate the guest experience. You will assist the culinary leadership team to maintain our high Food Safety Management standards, ensuring that the work methods are safe and best practice is maintained as well as encouraging team work and camaraderie.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have experience in high end volume operations with a luxury hotel/High End Restaurant or premium Café and proven experience leading teams to meet a level of high performance across food quality and innovation.
Other key attributes we are looking for include:
- Passion for the craft and Industry
- Sound knowledge of the latest trends and Artisan experience in the industry
- Proved experience delivering bespoke menus and amenities.
- Proven ability to work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Creative, eye for Detail and a Flair for Presentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Completed technical education in hospitality or culinary school
- Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
- Previous experience in luxury hotels or a Michelin Star restaurant environment, highly desirable
