We currently have Part time and Casual educator positions available as well as a Full Time Coordinator Position!
We are currently seeking a passionate, experienced Centre Coordinator with great interpersonal skills to lead our fantastic OSHC centre in the Camden LGA
As a Coordinator you will play a central role in supporting continuous improvement, empowering educators in successfully implementing Kids United core values. You will be responsible for building relationships with children, their families and school staff while providing an inclusive and fun environment in which children are safe, engaged and well supervised.

The successful applicant will be required to be available full time. Only candidates with full availability will be considered.
Operating hours:
BSC 6:30am – 10:00am
ASC 2:00pm – 6:30pm
VAC 6:30am – 6:30pm
As a Coordinator at Kids United OSHC; Your role will include:
Delivering a high quality, educational, safe and fun program
Ensure all practices are in accordance with the NQS and reflect the philosophy, policies and procedures of the service
Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.
Ensure adequate and continuous supervision of all children in the service
Communication and engagement with children, families and other team members in a positive, productive and respectful manner
Maintain accurate records relating to children’s Medical, Health and Safety, Attendance and Behaviour, whilst ensuring confidentiality is maintained
Train and develop staff in accordance with the National Quality Framework Standards
Manage health management plans for students with medical needs (e.g.: diabetes, seizures, food allergies, asthma etc)
Provide feedback to parents/caregiver in ways that create quality partnerships between home and OSHC and facilitates children’s learning opportunities
Fulfil all administration tasks involved with the service including monitoring staff rosters and staff replacement
Advocate for and protect the rights of children and young people and identify and respond to children and young people at risk
Be the responsible person of the centre
Attend regular team meetings
Supervise food menu, purchasing, and preparation of food
Ability to contribute to the delivery of the curriculum by supervising, observing and recording of children’s learning, with particular consideration for their interests, aptitudes and special needs
Light cleaning duties
Essential Requirements
Ability to lead and manage a team.
Experience in OSHC with minimum 1 year leadership qualities (preferred)
An ACECQA approved qualification - Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care, Diploma in Children’s Services (0-14), Bachelor of Education or equivalent. (Overseas qualification must be assessed by ACECQA).
Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
Recent Police check (less than 6 months old) or willingness to obtain prior to starting the role
HLTAID012 first aid certificate (including CPR, anaphylaxis & asthma management and emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
Valid full Driving License
Experience with ‘XAP' technology or similar programs
High level of technology skills and abilities
Willing and able to work
Experience in working with children with a disability
Quick thinking and ability to problem solve and make appropriate decisions
Willingness to learn
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
Excellent communication and engagement skills
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, parents and staff
