The opportunity:
Our ICT Team are looking for an energetic, diligent and customer focused Junior ICT Officer. This is an entry level permanent full-time position, where you will be responsible for providing technical support to all employees of The Disability Trust. Working Monday to Friday, based in our Head Office in Coniston, you must be willing to travel to provide support to other sites across our organisation. As an independent worker, you will be a strong communicator and able to support employees with a varied level of technical ability.
The base salary for this role is between $68,000 to $74,000 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon relevant experience and qualifications.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Answering phone calls on the Service Desk to provide support to users including troubleshooting computer, phone, software, equipment faults and actioning requests in a timely manner
- Configuring, maintaining and monitoring PC workstations, laptops and printing devices including associated software
- Supporting software applications such as Citrix, Carelink and Technology One's CI/CiA and our ITSM Ticketing System
- Site visits across the organisation (this may include network patching, device relocation to troubleshooting)
- Assisting in setup of IT equipment in new workplaces and residences
- Ensuring the security of The Disability Trust data
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Windows Operating System experience with installation, troubleshooting and configuration
- A tertiary qualification in IT or ITIL experience is highly desirable
- A sound understanding of Active Directory and Office 365
- A basic understanding of applications and software such as Citrix and Cisco Meraki
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enable effective identification and resolution of IT related issues
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service
- A high level of personal integrity and a commitment to maintaining privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to liaise with people of different IT levels of experience
The successful candidate will be required to provide checks including an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination and a valid Australian Driver Licence prior to commencing employment.
