About the Firm

We’re working with a well-established, national mid-tier accounting firm based in Brisbane CBD, known for delivering exceptional bookkeeping and tax and audit services to a wide range of clients across Australia, particularly in the Health, Property & Construction Industry, the Education Sector and Manufacturing.

Due to strong ongoing growth, they are now looking for experienced Senior Bookkeepers to join their collaborative team.

About the Role

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you’ll lead workflow and client engagement while mentoring junior team members. You’ll work across large, complex clients and collaborate closely with experienced directors and senior advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Prepare BAS, IAS, TPAR, Payroll Tax, Super, and Fuel Tax Credits
• Budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and Xero training for clients
• System setup and conversions (Xero essential)
• Ensure compliance and build strong client relationships

What You’ll Need

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (minimum)
• Strong experience managing multiple clients and leading others
• Xero proficiency is essential, MYOB and MS Office desirable
• Construction industry experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and organisational skills
