We are urgently seeking experienced HV Electricians for immediate start on a BESS Project located in Brendale which is currently under development with a capacity of 205 MW / 410 MWh. You and the Brendale BESS will play an important role in helping Queensland achieve its Renewable Energy Targets.

The opportunity on offer is a 4 week project with the possibility of ongoing work. Competitive rates + penalties + allowances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, and commission electrical systems
• Perform cable tray, conduit, and HV cable installation
• Switchgear, transformer, and substation installs
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and project plans
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades on project delivery
• Participate in testing, inspections, and handover processes

Requirements:

• QLD Licensed Electrician
• HV Switching Ticket (desirable)
• Proven experience in heavy industrial installation
• Strong understanding of AS/NZS electrical standards
• Ability to work from drawings and manage installation tasks independently
• Commitment to safety and quality
• White Card & relevant site inductions
• EWP, Working at Heights, or Confined Space tickets (advantageous)​
