Turning Stones Recruitment Pty Ltd

Make things happen. Improve how the sector works.
The ACT AoD-MH Alliance is a high-impact, cross-sector initiative designed to improve outcomes for people with co-occurring alcohol and other drug (AoD) and mental health concerns. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator who can juggle logistics, connect people, and isn’t afraid to push buttons (literally).
This is a rare opportunity to be part of meaningful reform that’s about more than just events and admin. It’s about shaping how two sectors collaborate and using smart systems to make that easier, faster and better for everyone.
What you’ll do:
Coordinate cross-sector activities like bus tours, learning circles, and co-design workshops
Keep track of engagement, attendance, reporting and resources
Maintain and improve our online collaboration tools and digital platforms
Be the go-to for “how could we do this better?” across systems and operations
Support consumer engagement and knowledge-sharing across the Alliance.
What we’re looking for:
Highly organised, great with people, and able to manage competing priorities
A curious, solutions-focused mindset
Confidence with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. Planner, SharePoint, Teams, Forms) and a willingness to explore automation or digital workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Someone who wants their work to make a difference in people’s lives.
You will be working across the MH & AoD sectors and so the need to be responsive, relational, and comfortable working in complex environments is essential as is your alignment with the values of collaboration, integrity, and respectful practice.
Terms: Full-time, SCHADS Level 3. Fixed-term to June 2027. Based in Canberra.
