The Role

A VIC State Government agency is seeking multiple Senior Advisors to join their regulatory team on a contract until March 2026, with a strong potential for extension. These roles will support the assessment and processing of high-volume applications related to education providers.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess applications from regulated entities, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations
• Work collaboratively with technical teams and legal advisors to interpret and apply regulatory frameworks
• Liaise with applicants and stakeholders to resolve information gaps and maintain high standards of regulatory compliance
• Draft reports, briefing materials, and documentation to support regulatory decisions

About You

• Proven experience in regulatory assessment, compliance, or governance roles
• Strong written communication skills and ability to analyse technical or policy-based applications
• Familiarity with education regulation or public sector processes will be highly regarded
• Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage workload in a fast-paced environment
