As Assistant Director Legislation Services, you’ll lead critical legislative reform initiatives, providing high-level technical advice, research, and analysis. You’ll work closely with senior executives and the Minister to develop policy-aligned legislation that reflects contemporary education priorities.

About you

You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for legislative reform. To be successful you’ll have:

High-level experience in research, analysis and management of legislative review and reform including providing high level advice and policy development.

Proven high-level communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Experience in consultation on legislative reform with the ability to understand legislative and professional standards, prepare and present key documents and engage with stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

High level adaptability and flexibility with the ability to manage pressure and change in a rapidly changing environment.
