The Company
My client is a global Real Estate company, with their national head office based in inner Brisbane. We are now seeking a dynamic, ambitious individual with a Real Estate background, to join their corporate team in Brisbane. This is a Monday to Friday, full-time position, with every Friday work from home, and one day per week with flexi hours.

Position Overview
Working within the corporate team, The Training & Professional Development Manager is responsible for the planning, delivery, execution, review and optimization of the company's Professional Development program covering all training and events for the franchise network.

You will work closely with the Managing Director, Operations Director and Business Growth Managers, to ensure key insights on needs of the network are being addressed and content is relevant, up to date and in line with the industry trends. Some of the core responsibilities will include:-

  • Develop, implement, and monitor training programs within the organisation, coordinating with Trainers and a variety of committees.
  • Facilitate sessions for members - lead sessions, lead Q&A, manage the energy levels and engagement of the groups and coordinate team at head office on their requirements.
  • Set-up training sessions at Head Office in collaboration with the Marketing and Events Coordinator
  • Source external trainers who can offer the company the right content at the right times.
  • Develop multimedia visual aids and presentations in collaboration with the Marketing and Events Assistant.
  • Coordinate with trainers and internal team on support collateral requirements.
  • Collect feedback from attendees and monitor and report to Operations Director and Board trends in feedback.
  • Prepare annual training budget and execute and track this budget.
  • Create training events for specific groups with content crafted specifically for that audience.
  • Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budgets.
  • Plan the annual training and event calendar, evolving the offering each year and managing External and Internal Trainers to deliver exceptional training standards.
  • Manage internal team to ensure expectations around their input is clear, deadlines are defined and materials are collated and look professional, on-brand and error-free.
  • Research tools and technology to help deliver updated training programs and methods to the network.
  • Reviewing successes and areas of improvement for all training.
  • Coordinate with Marketing team, Directors and Imagine Experiences on communications for events and training - providing briefs for messaging, reviewing engagement numbers and delivering successful event attendance.
  • Coordinating directly with Business Owners on their needs and expectations.
  • Manage third party venues (usually alongside Imagine Experiences) to ensure seamless event experiences for all members of the network.

The ideal Candidate:

  • Will come from a Real Estate background, ideally having been in a role responsible for Training/Events/Marketing/Client Services
  • Possess maturity and confidence, with the ability to present to business stakeholders and agents
  • Has the ability to work in a fast-paced and tech-savvy environment
  • Has exceptional communication, follow up and customer service skills
  • Has an interest in professional growth and longevity within the corporate Real Estate sector
  • Is switched-on, energetic and has a friendly and positive attitude
