About the role

Arrow Mechanical Services (AMS) are now looking for a HVAC Service Technician, to join a great team environment, primarily based within the Brisbane CBD .

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, motivated HVAC Technician, capable of conducting, corrective and preventative maintenance of commercial HVAC plant and equipment.

The primary responsibilities of this role will be:

Complete maintenance and repairs utilising technical skills

Proactively look for potential sources of refrigerant gas leaks to reduce refrigerant usage

Maintain and update Asset registers

Conduct all work in accordance with Arrow Mechanical Services standards

To be eligible for this role you must have;

A good knowledge of Commercial HVAC plant and equipment, DX plant and controls.

A background in fault finding, servicing and preventative maintenance techniques.

Good time management, organisational, written and verbal skills.

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

A solid work ethic being reliable and punctual.

Ability to work independently, but also within a team.

You will be required to;

Liaise with clients, sub-contractors and other trade personnel.

Maintain deadlines and manage workload.

Undertake service and maintenance of HVAC equipment, controls and plant.

Be well presented with a positive attitude in representing the company.

Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Be a team player and show courtesy and respect for colleagues.

Qualifications required:

Trade qualifications/Trade completion certification (Certificate III Refrigeration and Air-conditioning).

Full Refrigerant Handling license (Arctick), Restricted/electrical license.

Current Open Australian driver’s license.

Construction White or Blue card.

The successful candidate will be awarded with;
