Job Description

Belise is on the hunt for a dedicated and energetic Maintenance Handyperson. Reporting directly the General Manager, this varied role requires you to maintain the building, plant and equipment, fixtures and fittings throughout the Hotel to the required standards. You will be part of the team that ensures we provide a safe and functional environment for all guest, visitors and employees. Duties include:

Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities, rooms and equipment. This includes basic plumbing, electrical, painting and general repairs

General maintenance and repair works

Working with our Housekeeping and Front Office team in responding to our guest maintenance related concerns

Maintain a clean and tidy environment

Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed

Performing duties relevant to experience and trade as applicable and also perform other maintenance related tasks as required

Daily Pool/Spa testing and cleaning

Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way

Conduct routine inspections to ensure all required maintenance and repairs are attended to prior/after guest departure.

Upkeeping of the property's common areas

Proactive with record keeping and self-motivated
