About the role
You will work closely with the Managing Director of this vibrant advertising agency in a role that blends both strategy and operations.

• Drive weekly accountability by analysing job performance, partnering with the Senior Account Directors to oversee job cost reports of clients
• Forecast, track, and manage cashflow across multiple entities
• Work in close collaboration with the Managing Director to lead and evolve the financial strategy
• Analyse financial performance data and provide insightful and commercial recommendations
• Generate client level profitability reports
• Oversee all day to day bookkeeping functions across multiple entities
• Manage month end reconciliation of all accounts
• Client invoicing, process supplier payments and monitor AP and AR
• Manage weekly/fortnightly payroll for a team of 12
• Preparation of monthly P&L reporting
• Maintain oversight of client and supplier contracts

Skills and Experience required

• This role bests suits someone who is highly analytical and commercially minded, you enjoy turning number into clear and strategic action
• You have a high degree of attention to detail and are meticulous in the way you work
• Experience in an environment with project based financial reporting and job costing (it would be well regarded if your experience is within a professional services or consulting type environment, though this isn't essential)
• You communicate with confidence and ease. This role will see you working in very close collaboration with a team of stakeholders
• You are a natural problem solver and like to uncover the 'why' behind the numbers
• You have formal qualifications in Accounting or Finance with experience in commercial environments
