About the Role:
In this role, you will use tractors, slashers and rear mounted flail mowers to mow drains and support the upkeep of our roads and drainage systems. If you are experienced and passionate about working in a community-focused environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Specialised Equipment: Drive a tractor equipped with a flail attachment to efficiently mow drains and maintain drainage infrastructure.
- Manual labouring duties will also be required as part of the role.
- Safety & Compliance: Perform tasks in strict adherence with safety protocols and traffic management guidelines.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist in the construction and maintenance of roads and drainage systems, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance professionals and contractors to coordinate operational tasks and support community infrastructure projects.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Current General Construction Safety "White" Card
- QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent
- Current Traffic Stop/Slow and Traffic Management Implementation competencies (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in operating plant, particularly tractor/slasher/Flail Mower
- Current HR Heavy Rigid Truck Licence is desirable
